Green House

The Green conservatory (Green house) was established in the year 1957. The green conservatory protects the plants from extensive external climate conditions and diseases, creates optimal growth microenvironment and facilitate our students for their their studies. A large number of plants from the lower flora algae to higher angiosperms including orchids are placed in the Green conservatory. In addition a pond is present where hydrophytes are conserved. The Greenhouses allow for greater control over the growing environment of plants.The Green Conservatory in our campus is an inflated structure with transparent material large enough to grow plants under partial controlled conditions to get an optimum growth .Greenhouses allow for greater control over the growing environment of plants.The Green conservatory helps us to study and conserve plants. We have a collection of plants from the lower flora algae to higher angiosperms including orchids. In addition a pond is also constructed in the Green Conservatory where hydrophytes are conserved.
