Research

Department of Mathematics, Mar Ivanios College (Autonomous), is an active research centre under the University of Kerala since 2009. At present we have 7 research guides affiliated to this research centre. As on 1st June 2020, twenty (full time and part time) PhD research scholars are working under different research supervisors. We have collaborations with faculty members of the Department of Mathematics at IIT Madras, IIST Trivandrum, University of Kerala, and IISER Trivandrum. The major areas of research in this centre are: Linear Algebra, Functional Analysis, Mathematical Modeling, Differential Transforms, Difference Equations and Graph Theory.
